In this half-day workshop, you will learn the skills to begin sewing successfully at home, covering machine basics, using a sewing pattern and fabric fundamentals. Participants must bring fabric scissors and their own sewing machine in good working condition.

Sinéad has been sewing for 25 years, has an associate diploma in fashion design and technology and has run a small alteration business.

    Repair Cafe

    Repair Cafe

    Located at the Port Fairy Community House, visitors are given the opportunity to bring their broken item from home. Together with the volunteer ‘fixer’, they start making their repairs.
