What is Be Connected? Be Connected is an Australian Government program aimed at increasing the confidence, skills and online safety of older Australians when they use the internet.
We have a trained mentor here who will support older people to develop digital skills and confidence. The Be Connected program offers a variety of self-paced learning modules and our mentor will help guide you in the right direction in the areas which interest you the most.

Getting started online
How to use Zoom
Social media
Learning to use an iPhone or Android phone
Basic computer skills
Introduction to myGov
Online banking apps
Online shopping
Staying safe online and much more………..
If you or someone you know, is just starting out or has hit a wall when it comes to new technology, book a one-on-one appointment and start learning new skills… for free!
Port Fairy Community House also offers free assistance to seniors with all things smart phone, ipad and laptop related. We aren’t experts but we will do our best to assist.
IT assistance is between 11-12pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
