Covering machine basics, using a sewing pattern and fabric fundamentals, learn the skills to begin sewing successfully at home in this one-day course. Participants must bring fabric scissors and their own sewing machine in good working condition. Also, bring your own lunch as time will be given to have a short break.

Sinéad has been sewing for 25 years, has an associate diploma in fashion design and technology and has run a small alteration business.

Bring a packed lunch.
