The Port Fairy Men’s Group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Port Fairy Community House. It is facilitated by Paul Buchanan

By attending meetings, you can:

  • reduce isolation by developing authentic connections.
  • be listened to and genuinely heard.
  • feel safe sharing feelings and perspectives.
  • speak honestly, openly and confidentially without judgement.

If you feel ready to develop your understanding of what is means to be a man in today’s world then this group may be of help to you.

It is open to men of all ages and is a welcoming and supportive group. For more information contact Paul on 0447041613.

The community is warmly invited to celebrate the official launch of the Koroit Community Garden on Sunday 22 February 2026 at 11am.

Come along and enjoy a relaxed morning with neighbours, special guests, a sausage sizzle, tasty treats, and lucky door prizes. It’s a wonderful chance to explore the garden, connect with others, and celebrate this shared community space together.

You’ll find the garden on High Street, between the Koroit Library and the Senior Citizens Buildings — feel free to drop by anytime for a wander and see what’s growing.

🌱 Get Involved

Interested in gardening, learning new skills, or simply meeting new people? Join our regular “Come and Do” gardening sessions on the third Saturday of each month from 10am. Together we work on planting, maintenance, and improving the garden for everyone to enjoy.

Whether you’re a seasoned green thumb or just curious, everyone is welcome.

We’d love to see you there!

Let’s Start the Year Together

If there’s one thing we love in Port Fairy, it’s seeing our town come alive with music, visitors, and community spirit — and nothing captures that better than our huge Port Fairy Community Markets over Folk Festival weekend and again on Easter Saturday.

These are the two biggest market events of the year, and they’re the perfect chance to soak up the buzz, discover local talent, and stock up on everything from handmade gifts to fresh regional produce.

A Market That Overflows With Local Goodness

Expect 80+ stallholders filling the grounds with colour, creativity and delicious aromas. Wander through rows of:

  • Handcrafted gifts, arts and textiles

  • Festival must-haves and Easter treats

  • Fresh local produce — fruit, veg, eggs and more

  • Local bread, cakes, jams and gourmet goodies

  • Plants, garden treasures and eco-friendly products

  • Jewellery, clothing and unique homewares

  • Delicious food options

Whether you’re here for Folkie, holidaying with family, or simply soaking up the long weekend atmosphere, there’s something for every kind of shopper and explorer.

Community at the Heart

What makes these markets truly special is the people behind them — our amazing local makers, growers, and creators. Every purchase supports small businesses, passionate hobbyists, and local families.
