Repair Cafes bring many benefits: they extend the life of items that would otherwise end up in landfill, they pass on valuable fixing skills and knowledge i.e. FIY (fix-it-yourself), they are a great antidote to the ‘throw-away society’ way of thinking, and they are fabulous social and networking events.
