Community Garden

The garden is a place where people come together to grow food and other plants, to learn new skills, meet and make new friends & be part of the Port Fairy community. One of our new members has a horticultural background and is happy to share his knowledge. This is a fun, low key group & everyone is welcome. Looking for new members, so come along and give it a go.

No prior knowledge or expertise required. Come along once or come along every week. The session ends with a cuppa at one of the local cafes.

    Repair Cafe

    Repair Cafe

    Located at the Port Fairy Community House, visitors are given the opportunity to bring their broken item from home. Together with the volunteer ‘fixer’, they start making their repairs. It’s an ongoing learning process fostering concepts of sustainability, community and skill-sharing.
